Refund and cancellation policy

This policy covers bookings made through the Oppanai One app. Each artist also sets a free-cancellation period, which is shown on their page and in your booking.

1. If you cancel

  • You can cancel in the app (My bookings → your booking → Cancel) if the request is awaiting payment or acceptance, or if a confirmed appointment is at least the artist's free-cancellation number of days away, calculated using India time.
  • If you paid in the app, we refund the amount you paid in full.
  • Once the free-cancellation period has started, you can't cancel in the app. Contact us and we'll help where we can.

2. If the artist cancels or declines

  • If an artist cancels a confirmed booking, you get a full refund of any amount you paid in the app.
  • If an artist declines a pay-direct request, or doesn't respond within 24 hours, the request closes. No payment was taken, so there is nothing to refund.

3. Unpaid or expired bookings

If an in-app payment isn't completed within 30 minutes, the booking expires and the date is released. If money left your account but the booking expired, contact us and we will refund it.

4. Pay-direct bookings

Any money you pay the artist directly is between you and the artist. Oppanai One can't refund payments it didn't receive. Please still tell us about any problem, so we can take action on the artist's account.

5. How refunds are paid

  • Refunds go back to your original payment method through Razorpay.
  • Eligible refunds are flagged for processing and handled by our team. Contact us for the status and expected processing time; the bank or payment provider may take additional time to credit the amount. A cancelled booking does not mean the refund has already been credited.
