Sample business details: The operator name, postal address and grievance officer below are illustrative and must be replaced with verified details before publication.
This policy explains how Oppanai One handles personal information on our beauty-services website and app, for customers and independent beauty professionals, studios and salons. The sample operator and contact details are listed below.
1. Information we collect
- Account and profile: name, phone number, email, profile photo, language, city and pincode. Google sign-in provides your Google account identifier, name and email. If you choose to save a personal occasion date, we store it for reminders.
- Addresses and bookings: saved addresses, appointment or event date and time, venue, selected services, prices, coupons, payment choice, notes, attachments, booking history and cancellation reasons.
- Location: when you use nearby search, we receive your selected coordinates to calculate distance and filter results. You may select a location on the map instead of granting device-location permission. Business registration can include a confirmed base address and exact coordinates.
- Professional profiles: business and owner names, email, experience, languages, service areas, availability, prices, travel charges, trial and cancellation policies, portfolio photos and videos, and a government ID document submitted for verification.
- Payments: payment and order identifiers, amounts, transaction status and refund records. Razorpay handles in-app payment credentials; we do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank login credentials.
- Reviews and support: ratings, review text and photos, and information you provide when contacting us.
- Technical information: push notification tokens, authentication/session records, and IP addresses and request information used for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting. Our hosting and third-party services may also process connection information.
Provide only information needed for the service. Avoid including medical records, passwords, payment credentials or unrelated identity documents in booking notes, reviews or attachments.
2. How we use information
- To create and secure accounts, show relevant professionals and approximate distances, save preferences and manage wishlists.
- To process bookings, payments and refunds, share necessary booking details, and send service updates and reminders.
- To review professional registrations and identity documents, moderate content, prevent misuse and resolve disputes.
- To respond to requests, maintain the service and meet applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations.
Optional permissions and profile information are your choice. Declining location access still allows manual location selection; declining notifications may prevent device alerts. Information necessary for a booking or professional verification is required to complete that feature.
3. Public information and booking disclosures
- Approved professional listings display business information, service areas, prices, portfolio content, ratings and reviews. Published reviews may display the reviewer's name and submitted content.
- Government ID documents are restricted to the submitting professional and authorised verification or administrative access; they are not part of public listings.
- A professional's exact base coordinates and private address are not included in public catalog responses. Customers can see approximate distances. An address you put in a public bio or photo remains visible.
- The booked professional receives necessary customer, venue, service, notes and attachment information. The app exposes the customer's phone to that professional for requested or confirmed bookings, and the professional's phone to the customer for confirmed bookings. Authorised administrators can access both for support.
Recipients can retain information already received, even after it stops appearing in a booking view. Professionals must use customer information only to fulfil the booking and meet their legal obligations.
4. Service providers and external services
We use providers for hosting and databases, file storage and media delivery, authentication, notifications and payments. Project integrations include Google sign-in, Firebase notifications, Razorpay payments, Google Drive file storage and Cloudinary media where enabled. Google Drive uploads use the operator's storage account; they do not require access to your personal Drive.
Maps request tiles from OpenStreetMap, and the website loads fonts from Google Fonts. These requests disclose connection information such as your IP address; map tile requests also indicate the map area viewed. Opening WhatsApp, Instagram, app stores or other external links subjects your interaction to those services' policies.
Providers may process information outside India, subject to applicable law and the arrangements governing the service. We may disclose information to comply with lawful requests, protect people and the service, or resolve fraud or disputes. We do not sell personal information.
5. Device storage and permissions
The website stores your language choice in browser local storage. The app stores preferences such as language, city and mode, and uses platform secure storage for sign-in tokens. Clearing local storage or uninstalling the app does not delete records held by the service.
Device location is requested when you choose to use your current location; the feature does not require continuous background tracking. Photo, file or camera access is used when you choose to upload content. You can manage location, notification and media permissions in device settings.
6. Retention and security
We retain information while needed to operate your account, deliver services, review professional verification, resolve disputes and satisfy legal obligations. Booking, payment and security records may need to remain after account closure. Backups and third-party records may expire on separate schedules. We do not promise immediate erasure of every copy.
We use access controls, authenticated file access for restricted documents and secure token storage to protect information. No service can guarantee complete security. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
7. Your choices and requests
You can edit supported profile fields and saved addresses in the app, change language and adjust device permissions.
Delete your account: in the app, go to Account → Delete account (artists: Profile → Delete account). Without the app, follow the steps on our Delete your account page or email oppanaione@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Your name, phone number, email, photo, addresses and, for artists, the business page, photos, videos and ID document are deleted. Past bookings and payments are kept without your name for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and reviews you wrote show as “Deleted user”. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete your account.
To request access, correction, erasure of uploaded information, or withdrawal of optional consent, email oppanaione@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”.
Provide your registered phone or email and describe the request. We may verify account ownership before acting; do not email passwords, payment credentials or a full government ID unless a secure verification process is specifically arranged. Some information may be retained for legal or dispute-related reasons, which we will explain when responding. Applicable statutory rights remain available to you.
8. Age requirements
Accounts and bookings are intended for adults aged 18 or above. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Updates
We will update this page and its date when the policy changes. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before using information for a materially different purpose.
